January is always a big reading month. I’m filled with motivation to get through some pages. This month was more about attempting to read some physical books after a year-long marathon of Kindle books. Did I still read books on my Kindle? Yes. I love reading romance novels on my Kindle because I read them so much faster and easier on an e-reader.
In January I caught up with some graphic novels I’d gotten as gifts and made my way through the Lore Olympus series. I did read this originally on Webtoon, but there’s something about the graphic novel format that is very comforting as well.
I read more Catherine Cowles because she is quickly becoming a favorite and I am anxiously waiting for the next book in her most recent series and filling the time with all of her other books. She has a formula that I love. They are more thriller/suspense romances than your typical fluffy rom-com.
So…my reading goal was set at 24 books…which I knew I would pass, but if I keep going at this rate…I’m going to pass it by A LOT.
Don’t ask me where I find the time. This is all I do when I’m at home, much to the chagrin of my hubs, who wants me to join him for his new Magic the Gathering hobby.
I’m excited to keep reading, which is the important part!
